Surface - Martin

Martin Surface, aged 76 years, died of general debility Monday at the home of Elder Jonathan Vancleave, nine miles southwest of the city. The deceased had no family and had resided in this county for nearly half a century. The funeral occurred Tuesday, the interment taking place at the old Presbyterian Cemetery on the Terre Haute Road. -s
